In march 2021 sensideon participated in the International Machinery Forum 2021 and presented current developments and trends about the topic of connectivity. 

We spoke about the item tracking of pans, which are exposed to extreme environmental conditions such as heat, slag, dirt and more. Also, we present an example in coating technology where wireless temperature monitoring is an immense advantage. Another application shows the integration of temperature sensors in heavily used rolls of paper mills.

The Corona crisis caused many event cancellations this summer. But sensideon took advantage of the opportunity and visited several online trade fairs and events for the first time.

..and so it happened that the Sensor + Test fair in Nuremberg, for which sensideon would have already registered in June, was unfortunately canceled. But luckily, the European Test and Telemetry Conference (ETTC) took place online from 23-25. June 2020 with the focus “collaboration and innovation in testing”. Of course we took this opportunity and participated with a pitch and a live Q&A session with the topic “SAW Temperature sensing for automotive test bench systems”.

We were also live online at the start-up Innovation Pitch Sessions on June 23 from inno4X!

Last but not least, we also virtually joined the Dritev event from 24-25. June 2020 – one of the world’s largest automobile congresses – and were able to present us at our online stand and generate many new contacts.

And all that in just a few days! This would not have been so easily possible if we had to be personally present at all of the events. As you can see, the Corona crisis is not always negative, but also offers new opportunities that you have to seize!

The conference on RFID & wireless technologies for the IoT will take place on October 29th and 30th, 2019 in Darmstadt. sensideon will be a visitor of the event to learn about the latest developments in RFID and wireless technologies for the IoT.

After the great success in the previous year, visitors can expect not only an increased exhibition area but also more than 90 exhibiting companies. Nevertheless, the organizers rely on their proven conference concept again this year which allows an optimal information transfer.

With the help of the regional program in Tirol, three Austrian companies are looking for innovative solutions. Together with European and international Startups, they want to discover new possibilities. Just like sensideon, the other companies are manufacturers of industrial products and world market leaders in their niche. 

In the course of this, present problems were published in advance. Every company and startup were able to submit a solution proposal for a specific issue. One of the tasks was to measure the material state of industrial products under extreme environmental circumstances. The condition of difficult-to-access or closed components and tools should be measured during production and operation. The collected data should be transmitted wirelessly to the controller. Physical data such as temperature or pressure should provide information about the load on the material.
