Pioneers: The importance of Start-Ups

The Pioneers event provides a platform for start-ups to engage with potential investors and other companies to drive growth and innovation. But why does the economy follow up with Start-Ups? On average, between 500 and 1000 Start-Ups are founded in Austria every year – with an upward trend. This, in turn, counts for around 1.5% of the total number of Start-Ups (gruenderservice 2016a, statista 2017). Start-Ups are characterized by an innovative business model and a focus on fast growth. As a result, companies like that are extremely important to the economy. sensideon is part of this scene and we look forward to sharing with other startups, benefiting from their experiences and vice versa.
